Meet the Designer

Hello, I’m Tiya Mdebwe.

I create stylish, luxury spaces that mirror the lives of the people who inhabit them. My work centres on designing interiors that feel open, elevated and beautifully balanced, with a particular focus on creating a sense of height.

My journey into interior design began personally, through redesigning my own space and discovering how much I loved and enjoyed the process, and more importantly, how profoundly our surroundings can influence how we feel. That early transformation shaped my commitment to studying interior design and creating interiors that support wellbeing.

Having lived across Malawi, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom, with close ties to the United States, my approach is informed by a global understanding of lifestyle, culture and craftsmanship. I draw inspiration from travel, art, food and meaningful experiences, always allowing each client’s story to guide the design. The result is bespoke interiors designed to last and hold their value long term.

I am a qualified professional with a strong business foundation. I studied interior design at the Florence Design Academy, and hold an MSc in International Business Management from IE Business School, alongside a BSc in Business Management from King’s College London. This blend of creative expertise and strategic thinking allows me to manage projects with clarity and discretion, ensuring the experience feels seamless for my clients from start to finish.

I work on private residential and commercial projects for clients who value personalised service, trust expert guidance and see their interiors as a meaningful investment. From our initial consultation to immersive renderings and consistent updates throughout the design journey, my role is to guide, support and simplify, so every detail is handled beautifully.

Design, for me, is a relationship. One built on listening, understanding and translating your lifestyle into a space that feels elevated, inviting and quietly luxurious.

If you are ready to explore what luxury means to you, I would love to begin that conversation.
